Meeting of the Union of Automobile Agents with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, based on the directives of H.E. the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah

The Union of Automobile Agents held a coordination meeting with the Ministry of Interior on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, chaired by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdulwahab Ahmed Al-Wuhaib, in line with the directives of H.E. the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. The meeting was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Board and a number of representatives of the Union’s members, as well as several senior security officials, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation and develop working mechanisms between both parties

During the meeting, the Union’s representatives emphasized their commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership with the Ministry of Interior in a manner that supports the automotive sector in the State of Kuwait and enhances the services provided to customers

Both sides discussed several common topics aimed at accelerating vehicle registration and ownership transfer procedures and facilitating transactions in line with best modern practices and improved service quality

The meeting also reviewed a number of challenges and obstacles facing automobile agencies, which were presented and discussed with the relevant authorities. It was agreed to implement a set of regulatory measures that would support the business environment and streamline procedures, while adhering to approved security regulations

The Union commended the constructive cooperation demonstrated by the Ministry of Interior and its commitment to continuous engagement with the private sector, affirming that this approach contributes to achieving institutional integration and enhancing the overall system in a way that serves the public interest

The Union of Automobile Agents reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing collaboration with relevant government entities to enhance sector efficiency and support development efforts in the State of Kuwait
