Mutawa Alkazi Company Limited was founded in 1958. in 1959 became the exclusive distributor for Honda Motor Company in Kuwait.
It cooperated with international automobile companies as the exclusive distributor for their products in Kuwait, which varied from included cars, motorcycles, power generators and many other equipment.
In 1974 the number of employees in the main office were only 15 employees following a quarter of a century, this number steadily grew to reach more than 300.
The Mutawa Alkazi Company name in Kuwait became synonymous with consumer confidence and satisfaction as a result of its endeavors throughout the years.
Since inception the Company ethos has been centered on providing the highest level of service to its customers and in doing so it has received many awards for customer satisfaction for both its sales and after sales operations from both international and local well known survey companies.
In March 1996, the Company expanded operations when it opened an exclusive 3S facility in Ahmadi covering 5,000 square meters. The Centre included a Car Showroom, Motorcycle and Power Product Showroom, a Service Centre, Body Repair Centre, Spare Parts Warehouse and Sales Outlet in addition to several Quick Service bays and a Car Wash station.
In 2004, the Shuwaikh Service Centre underwent a major renovation programme which included the addition of Quick Service bays, a Car Showroom and a Spare Parts Sales Outlet thereby making the Service Centre a second fully fledged 3S facility.
Both 3S facilities are equipped with the latest technical equipment and machinery for examination and easy diagnosis for any type of fault. The Company has a team of professional, highly trained and experienced mechanics and technicians who have the support of a knowledgeable and reassuring reception team. As a result customers are well taken care of from the minute they arrive at any one of the service facilities.
Mutawa Alkazi Company further expanded its operations in 2012 with the opening of the exclusive Automotive Showroom in the upmarket Al Tilal Complexin Shuwaikh.
The Showroom is one of the largest and most prestigious automotive showrooms in Kuwait.

This strategy yielded impressive results, as in 2011, GAC broke the sales record for the most sold Chinese vehicle and saw an impressive 92.9% growth in sales in 2012 – a testament to both the quality and reliability of the car. Building on this success, GAC Motor’s strategy is to introduce one new car model each year in order to have a wide enough range of cars to compete with other more established Korean, Japanese, American, and European brands.

Dongfeng Motor Corporation, originally known since 1969 as Second Automobile Works until 1992, is a Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer headquartered in Wuhan,China.
