At the end of World War II, Alghanim Industries signed an important contract with General Motors (GM) to introduce American-made cars into Kuwait. In light of this agreement, Yousef Ahmed Al-Ghanim & Sons Company now known by Alamana Auto for Sales Automotive Co. obtained the exclusive rights to distribute Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and Pontiac cars. This contract contributed to the classification of Yousef Ahmed Al-Ghanim & Sons as one of the largest distributors of General Motors vehicles in the world. Today, the company has the exclusive right to distribute the following cars: Chevrolet and Cadillac within four showrooms that have a strategic location that helps cover the most densely populated areas in Kuwait. This wide network of car showrooms represents one of Alghanim’s core convictions, which is to offer a wide range of products to its customers who deserve the best, with the optimal suitability to provide them with a superior and unique experience.

It should be noted that Yousef Ahmed Al-Ghanim & Sons Company known now by Alamana Auto for Sales Automotive Co. has sought to develop its basic services in the automotive sector, especially after-sales services, as it opened the largest and most modern car service center in the world. This new center is located in Shuwaikh and provides after-sales services that are practical, convenient, and highly professional, with excellent purchasing value. Thus, a large group of direct employees, supported by a team of trained technicians and advanced equipment, provides customers with an unprecedented level of after-sales support service in the automotive field. Comfort facilities in the service center include designated waiting rooms, a designated corner for children, and a café, in addition to Wi-Fi Internet service, a closed-screen system to monitor vehicle operations, a car rental and insurance office, and a Kromozone corner for car accessories. The total area of the service center is 73 thousand square meters, and it includes 209 repair garages and 26 maintenance booths to provide the highest and most effective service.
